We got a knock on our front door and a lovely lady was there. She was from the Toller Church and a friend of our wonderful neighbours Derek and Ruth (who helped us so much with our xmas extravaganza). She told us that Ruth had shared with the church all about me and my fund and the Toller Dance Group hold charity dances and this one they decided to donate the money raised to our fund. It was such a surprise and when we looked at the cheque we were even more surprised.
It was a cheque for £300
Thank you so much, my parents were in such a shock they didn't even offer her a drink lol. All they could say was thankyou over and over x

Santa Fun Run at East Carlton Park - Craft Stall
As we had quite a bit of xmas crafts left from our xmas extravaganza we searched for another fete/event where we could have a table. We found the Santa Fun Run at East Carlton Park in Corby on sunday 11th dec which was having carboots and various stalls as well as the fun run, walk and santa's grotto. We spoke to a lovely man who was more than happy for us to come along and have a stall.
We arrived at 12 to set up under our gazebo and got loads of support and buyers. We were very lucky as there wasn't another craft stall and the rain held off until 4pm (the wind was so strong our gazebo blew right off the ground lol). We raised
£81.30
Thank you nanny for helping us today xxx

The fun day was fantastic and included a brilliant magician, a very talented face painter, craft table and of course us with the circus skills...everyone enjoyed themselves and had a 'fun day'.

Carboot sale- sunday 2nd october
We finally managed to do another carboot sale at wickstead park. It was such a lovely sunny day and loads of people were there. Our lovely friend Cathy had a massive house clearance and gave us loads of bits for us to sell on our stall. We met some great people who were interested in our fundraising and offered items for us to sell and offered to help out at our next fundraising events. It was so nice to meet such caring people. Also at the end we had a few people come up to us and because they heard we were fundraising they gave us some more items to sell at our next carboot/event. It was so kind of them and one lady who donated us loads was Linda and her family. She stopped and had a long chat with me about George and our fund, she was a lovely lady and offered to help us. Thank you so much Linda for your kindness and thank you for everyone that brought stuff of our stall, we raised

Christening - sunday 18th september
Our first party booking!!!
A lady heard about us at Irlingborough libary and booked us for an hour at a christening party in Stanwick. Unfortunately we were all feeling poorly except daddy, so poor daddy had to go alone. It was in a large hall and daddy walked around doing circus skills, magic tricks and making balloon models. The children seemed to enjoy themselves as well as the adults. Daddy did a fantastic job and did us proud. hopefully next time we can all go as a family of clowns x

Kettering Carnival 20th august 2011
While we were at the Irlingborough library on saturday 20th august.....3 fantastic people were raising money for our fund at the Kettering carnival. My nanny, Auntie Elly and their friend Ivy held a tombola stall for charity. They split the money raised between our fund and another charity and raised us
£65
Wow!!! Thank you so much....It was such a shock as we didn't know they were raising money for us as Auntie Elly and Ivy do the carnival stall every year for various charities and it was so lovely for them to chose us this year.
Thank you, love you so much xxx

Raunds Library Events
We were very lucky as this years library summer reading theme was circus stars. We phoned Raunds library and they were more than happy for us to come in and do some events for them. We didn't charge as it would be our first time performing as clowns together. We all have our outfits on and looked very funny!
On saturday 30th july it was our sensory story session. My daddy made up a brilliant story ' A day at the circus' and we all performed it with sensory story bags for everyone, juggling by daddy and plate spinning by mummy. It was great fun and the little children and their parents seemed to enjoy it.
On saturday 13th august we came back to do circus workshops. We had 2 groups and had a fantastic time helping the children learn plate spinning, diablo, juggling (balls and scarves) and we all learnt how to make a balloon dog and a balloon sword (which the children thought was funny to attack dede with). One of the children's mum gave us £5 towards our fund which was lovely of her. We didn't get her name but thank you so much x

My mummy and daddy have come up with a fantastic fundraising idea......They are going to be childrens entertainers and hire themselves out for party's and events and donate all the money earned to my fund. My daddy was in the circus and is a great clown...he can juggle with balls, clubs or even fire!!! He also makes brilliant balloon models!

Little George Butterworth is a medical mystery whose neurological condition has doctors stumped.
The three-year-old, of Silverwood Road, Kettering, needs five pieces of equipment just to get around his house and was not expected to see his first birthday.
His family is raising £20,000 to buy a new wheelchair which would give him freedom and independence.
Mum Donna Carr said: “When he was nine months old he had a seizure that lasted for four weeks.
“The doctors told us that was it and to prepare for the worst, so we had him christened and he had end-of-life care.
“They didn’t know what was wrong with him and said he was a palliative case so to just enjoy every day with him while he’s here.
“He gets frustrated because he sees his sister Penny moving around wherever she likes but he has to move from piece to piece of equipment.
“The new wheelchair would give him more control over what he does.”
Doctors can find no physical problems with George’s body but his seizures mean he cannot do anything himself.
Mark Butterworth, who adopted George earlier this year, said: “We’ve done a car boot sale and we’re at the Corby Carnival on Saturday.
“We’re decorating his wheelchair like a float and taking him around the fair.
“Donna and I are engaged but the wheelchair is more important than a wedding.”

WELCOME
Hello everyone. Welcome to my blog.
My name is George and i'm trying to raise £20,000 for a new powered wheelchair, the snap dragon. I've had a try in it and its brilliant. I don't have a lot of movement but this chair has large switch buttons which will enable me to control my position It also has a standing adaption which will help with my chest problems and will let me 'walk' out and about, standing tall.
Thanks for reading x
