Treadmill Challenge in Newland Centre
On saturday 21st january we had a stall in the Newlands shopping centre in Kettering. My mummy, nanny, auntie Chloe, auntie Elly and her friends set up and ran a tombola stall , my daddy did some circus skills while my uncle Damian ran for 4 hours straight on the treadmill and people had to guess how far he could run!!!!!
He ran a massive 52.4k which is about 35.5miles!!! wow!
A lady called Porcha who works in the hairdressers along Dalkeith place won the £20 argos voucher for guessing the closest distance.
I even escaped from hospital for a few hours to watch uncle Damian run which worn me out (I had a little snooze lol)
We raised a huge £369.55
Big thankyou to the Kettering and District LIONS club for generously paying for our insurance,
LA FITNESS health club for kindly letting us borrow the treadmill,
My uncle Damian for running so far (and not even looking worn out),
All my family and friends for helping and for everyone that supported us on the day x

Update - operation and new sister
Hi everyone.
Sorry its been a while since I last wrote on here. I went in for a big operation on 10th january. I had a re-do nissens fundoplication also my gastrostomy disc grow out of my stomach and into my stomach wall which they had to remove along with a tumour that grew underneath the disc (tumour was benign). The surgeons couldn't do the operation keyhole so i had to have open surgery which made my recovery a lot longer but I'm doing loads better now and my scar is healing nicely!
Really good news.......I have a new baby sister!
On the 21st february my mum gave birth to another little girl. I am now a big brother to 2 sisters now.
We have definitely been very busy already this year but still managed to do some fundraising xxx

Donation from Toller Dance Group
We got a knock on our front door and a lovely lady was there. She was from the Toller Church and a friend of our wonderful neighbours Derek and Ruth (who helped us so much with our xmas extravaganza). She told us that Ruth had shared with the church all about me and my fund and the Toller Dance Group hold charity dances and this one they decided to donate the money raised to our fund. It was such a surprise and when we looked at the cheque we were even more surprised.
It was a cheque for £300
Thank you so much, my parents were in such a shock they didn't even offer her a drink lol. All they could say was thankyou over and over x

Santa Fun Run at East Carlton Park - Craft Stall
As we had quite a bit of xmas crafts left from our xmas extravaganza we searched for another fete/event where we could have a table. We found the Santa Fun Run at East Carlton Park in Corby on sunday 11th dec which was having carboots and various stalls as well as the fun run, walk and santa's grotto. We spoke to a lovely man who was more than happy for us to come along and have a stall.
We arrived at 12 to set up under our gazebo and got loads of support and buyers. We were very lucky as there wasn't another craft stall and the rain held off until 4pm (the wind was so strong our gazebo blew right off the ground lol). We raised
£81.30
Thank you nanny for helping us today xxx

Another surprise donation - Irthlingborough library
We received a lovely letter from the friends of Irthlingborough library with a cheque donation of £75 towards our fund!!! This is to say thankyou for doing circus skills at their library fun day. We really enjoyed the fun day and was lovely meeting all the workers at the library. The fun day was fantastic and included a brilliant magician, a very talented face painter, craft table and of course us with the circus skills...everyone enjoyed themselves and had a 'fun day'.

Our xmas extravaganza - sat 3rd dec 2011
Our xmas extravaganza was a great success!
We had a fantastic time. It was a bit stressful the last few days getting things ready in time....we just managed to get santa the week before (big thankyou to Scott) and daddy only decided to build a giant grotto 2 days before (in our living room using a big gazebo)....but it was sooooo worth all the hard work.
We raised a massive
£432.70!!!!!!
A massive thankyou to all the helpers (we couldn't have done it without you) and all the people that turned up to support us on the day!! We throughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be doing another fete (this time we will be more prepared and ready) xxx
